Youth & Young Adult Team to Peru Announced for Summer 2010 |
Pastor Keith will lead a team of youth and young adults to be in ministry with youth and young adults of the Quechua Church of Peru from July 27-August 2, 2010. The team will engage in a number of activities, including exploring our faith cross-culturally and working on projects that will benefit the youth and young adults of Ayacucho, Peru, and enhance the outreach of the Quechua Church of Peru to young people who do not know Jesus. The likely cost of participating in this trip will be $1,600 per person. Partial scholarships are available and other means of raising your trip expenses will be offered. Each team member must have a passport. Parental permission must be given for all high school youth. Middle school youth will be permitted to participate provided that they have a parent or adult selected by parents on the team. For more information about this team, contact Pastor Keith (972-8808).
