Our church will be sending several mission teams to Peru in 2012. These trips could be significant in fulfilling your purpose. Think about it. Is it time for you to step out of your comfort zone? Two of the trips will involve medical teams. You do not have to be medically trained to be part of these teams. From March 17-25, the first team will fly to Pucallpa in the Amazonian jungle and spend 3-4 days conducted clinics in Shipibo Indian villages reached by boat. Overnight accommodations will be in a hotel with air conditioning, a pool and fair accommodations. Interested persons must deposit $1,000 by January 3. A second medical team will be in Peru from September 26– October 3. This team will operate clinics in Quechua villages in the Department of Ayacucho in the Andean mountains. Most nights will be spent in a very comfortable and modern hotel in Ayacucho. One night may be spent in a rustic hotel at a high altitude location. For more information about the medical teams, contact Becky Van Renan at 972-9264 or by This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
